Because the quality of Overlook's nursing and allied health staff is critical to high-quality care, the hospital will create a new fund to support continuing education for nurses, physical therapists, radiological technicians, hospital pharmacists, and others, with special attention to those seeking new certifications and skills. Income from the endowment will support attendance at workshops and conferences, on-site symposia, and speakers, review courses, and educational materials. This endowment will promote advanced care and encourage nurses and technicians to remain at Overlook.
