Overlook Trustee Betsy Compton and her husband, Eric Grubman, are supporting the “Exploratory Gene Expression Analysis of Childhood Autism” research project led by Roger Kurlan, MD. It is estimated that one in every 110 children is diagnosed with autism, making it more common than childhood cancer, juvenile diabetes and pediatric AIDS combined. Debbie Woodbury was completely blindsided when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. There were no physical signs or symptoms.
